As a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, I am particularly committed to providing my patients with personalized, easy-to-understand care that meets the highest medical standards. Through my work at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine II, Department of Cardiology, at Vienna General Hospital (AKH), and as director of the program for adults with congenital heart defects, I combine cutting-edge university medicine with personalized care.
A particular focus of my work is the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with congenital heart defects (EMAH), as well as interventional cardiology. During a multi-year fellowship at Toronto General Hospital in Canada, I was able to deepen my expertise in the interventional treatment of congenital and structural heart diseases. This international experience directly informs the care I provide to my patients today.
In addition to my areas of expertise, I cover the entire spectrum of modern cardiology—from the evaluation of heart symptoms and heart murmurs to heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, as well as the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
It is important to me to set aside enough time for a thorough discussion, to fully understand your individual situation, and to work with you to develop a personalized diagnosis and treatment plan. You’ll benefit from treatment based on the latest scientific findings in a pleasant and trusting atmosphere.
I look forward to welcoming you to my office.
